Coldplay- I Ran Away

I have ALL of Coldplays' albums (No lie) but I've never heard this song before, so I decided to share it. I ran across it via my Radiohead playlist on Pandora, and you know Pandora always puts people on with the "Unknowns" and what not. But anyway, this song was on "The Scientist" single EP but was never released. The song is a good one too, perhaps they should've reconsidered! Kuddos to the Brit brand for this one.

Think Different

...Because Apple said so!

Sick Performance.

I ran across this Gnarls Barkley performance they did back in 2008 at DCs own 930 Club, and man, this is one captivating show! Cee-Lo sounds almost identical to the version I have on wax, it's so dope. I thought a song like this would trip Cee-Lo up live, (Since I've never seen them perform live personally) but he totally killed it!
Enjoy.

New Sim-PLEX joint!

...Sort of.

We started working on this track entitled "Ahead of My Time", and we've never had the opportunity to finish the track completely. The song is featuring DMV native "Apache Flykhan", and is produced by the homie Benz Musik. Check it out, shoot us some feedback, let us know your thoughts!
Peace

Just wrote thee DOPEST 16 to this, and won't probably ever grace a recording booth. But to all my writers, keep writing, and here's a little inspiration.

I thought this was an EPIC title, picture, and story...

An "impossible" star is born. <---That just sounds dope, doesn't it!?

Accept The New?

As Americans, we went from Classical music...To Big Band...From Jazz...To Blues...From Country...To Rock and Roll...and so on and so forth. But eventually, we land on a little thing known as "Hip Hop" in the 1980's. Hip Hop, along with many of the genres before it, started as an outcast in music development, but eventually moves on to dominant pop culture.
BUT, the past year or so, I've found myself drifting away from Hip Hop altogether and enjoying music for being music (And not a genre). Someone told me the other day that I have a "weird" taste in music, and I figured that eventually, that person will be a fan of the same style of music as I; in due time. But just like all genres of NEW music, there's always scrutiny. But I encourage everyone to accept the new. Do I think Hip Hop is dead? Nah, it just evolving into something else.

AFTA-1 x GAS'D promo vid.

It's a pretty old vid, but dope nonetheless! AFTA-1 is hands down one of the illest producers without major label backing. Very eclectic dude, unique use of sounds, with an interesting choice in samples at times. Check him out.

Diddy Blog in the near future?

Truthfully, I love the theme. Motivation is probably one of the greatest teachers, in my opinion at least. I can't wait to see more....
